Do the Stern Lines sunglass straps float?

The sunglass strap by itself will in fact float, BUT your typical pair of sunglasses will weigh them down enough to sink.

How do I clean my Stern Lines sunglass straps?

With consistent wear, our Stern Lines may get a little dirty but DO NOT FEAR. Simply throw them in the washing machine with your next load of laundry and air/machine dry keeps them looking (and smelling) niceee.

Are the Stern Lines heavy? How long does it take to break in?

With our signature coreless braided rope, our Stern Lines are lightweight and comfortable from the start. Unlike full leather sunglass straps, our Stern Lines have no break in period and are not rough on your neck.

Are the bow ties made out of actual fish tails?

No, our bow ties are made with 100% Poly Twill fabric. Each tie is digitally printed with our awesome designs.

How are these bow ties made?

Using state of the art technology, our unique designs are digitally printed on the face of our bow ties. All of the design work is done in-house by our founder and made to look as realistic as possible. The face is backed with three layers of black poly twill to give the tie structure and depth. Our adjustable straps are made with the finest gun metal bow tie hardware. We then attach the middle band (rope/leg band) per order.

Are the bow ties pre-tied or self-tie?

Our bow ties do not have the ability to be tied and come “pre-tied.” Our unique “middle pieces” prevent us from making it a self-tie bow tie. Our adjustable strap means our ties will fit just about anyone’s neck.

Where are these bow ties made?

All of our bow ties are designed in-house and handmade in Charleston, South Carolina by talented local seamstresses. That means not only are you supporting our local business, you are also supporting local freelance seamstresses!
